The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website or apply via our application chat. Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified.
Who is responsible for data collection?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the section “Information on the controller”.
How do we collect your data?
On the one hand, by you providing it to us (e.g. entries in the application chat or by email/phone). Other data is collected automatically or with your consent when you visit the website by our IT systems (e.g. browser, operating system, time of page access).
What do we use your data for?
To provide the website free of errors and to process, pre-qualify and place your application. Further data may be used to optimise our advertising (Facebook/Instagram).
What rights do you have?
You have the right at any time to free information about your data, to rectification or erasure, to restriction of processing, to withdraw consent given, as well as a right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
We host the content of our website with an external service provider. Personal data is processed on their servers (including IP addresses, contact requests, meta/communication data, contact data, website access).
Host: The website is hosted on our service provider’s own servers, located in Germany:
Webamax Digitalagentur – Bäcker und Hiebsch GbR
Waldsaumweg 9, 99887 Georgenthal, Germany
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR (performance of a contract and legitimate interest in secure provision); where consent has been requested, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. A data processing agreement (DPA) is in place with the host.
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Joel Personal GmbH
Gräfenrodaer Str. 2, 98559 Oberhof
Phone: +49 36842 589 990
Email: kontakt@joel-personal.de
Represented by: Kevin Joel (Managing Director)
We have appointed a data protection officer. You can reach them at:
Dr. Thomas Häring
Rimbachstraße 45, 98527 Suhl
Email: datenschutz@joel-personal.de
Unless a more specific storage period is stated, your data will remain with us until the purpose for processing no longer applies. If you make a legitimate request for erasure or withdraw your consent, your data will be deleted, provided there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.
If you have consented, we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Section 25(1) TDDDG. Where data is required for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, we process it under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Otherwise, processing is carried out to safeguard legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We use tools from providers whose parent companies are based in third countries (in particular the USA). With the Meta Pixel, your data may be transferred to the USA. For the AI model processing via Microsoft Azure, the region is set to Europe; processing takes place within the EU, but access by the US parent company cannot be entirely ruled out. A level of data protection comparable to that of the EU cannot be guaranteed in third countries. Transfer or any such access is based, among other things, on the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses or — where certified — the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as well as on your consent (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR).
You can withdraw consent you have given at any time; the lawfulness of the processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected. You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
If data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. In the event of a legitimate objection, we will no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds. You can object to direct advertising at any time.
In the event of breaches of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or place of the alleged breach.
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you in a common, machine-readable format.
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored data, its origin, recipients and the purpose of processing and, if applicable, to rectification or erasure.
For security reasons, this site uses SSL / TLS encryption, recognisable by “https://” in the address bar.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Necessary ones are technically required (e.g. to store your selection). Functional (application chat) and marketing (Meta Pixel) are only loaded after your consent. A consent banner appears when you access the site; your selection is stored locally in your browser and can be changed at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG.
The provider automatically collects information in server log files (browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, host name, time, IP address). This data is not merged with other data sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If you contact us by email or phone, your enquiry, including all personal data, will be stored for processing. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (where related to a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) or (a) GDPR.
You can apply via our application chat (“kinius.app”) embedded in the site. The provider and operator of the chat tool is:
Webamax Digitalagentur – Bäcker und Hiebsch GbR
Waldsaumweg 9, 99887 Georgenthal, Germany
We process the data you enter in order to handle your application. This may include: name, contact details, language skills, profession/qualification, work experience, availability as well as other voluntary information. To structure your information (pre-qualification), we also use AI-supported methods. There is no solely automated decision-making with legal effect within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR; our staff decide on placement.
Purpose: handling, pre-qualification and placement.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and — for loading the chat/cookies — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / Section 25(1) TDDDG.
Storage period: We generally store your applicant data for up to 6 months after completion of the application or placement process. Beyond that, we only retain it for as long as it is necessary for placement or as required by statutory retention periods; it is then deleted.
AI-supported processing (Microsoft Azure): To structure and pre-qualify your information, it is processed by an AI model. The application chat itself and the data entered there are processed and stored by the provider (Webamax) on servers in Germany; only the AI model processing takes place via Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, D18 P521, Ireland; parent company Microsoft Corporation, USA). The region / server location for the AI models is set to Europe (EU), so that processing takes place within the EU. As Microsoft has a US parent company, access from a third country (USA) cannot be entirely ruled out; this is safeguarded by the EU standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Microsoft is certified) as well as by your consent (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR).
A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider (Webamax Digitalagentur – Bäcker und Hiebsch GbR); this correspondingly binds the sub-processors used (including Microsoft Azure for the AI model processing).
For a consistent appearance, we use the “Outfit” font. The font files are embedded locally on our server and are delivered directly with the website. There is no connection to Google servers or other third parties; in particular, your IP address is not transferred to Google. Consent is therefore not required for the fonts.
This website uses the Meta Pixel for reach measurement and advertising purposes. Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. This allows Meta to determine visitors to our website as a target group for Facebook and Instagram ads; we evaluate the effectiveness of our ads for statistical purposes and optimise future advertising.
Use is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG), which can be withdrawn at any time via “Cookie settings”. Any data transfer to the USA is based — where relevant — on standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For data processing by means of the pixel, we and Meta are joint controllers (Art. 26 GDPR). Further information: Meta’s data policy.
